SharePoint is a cloud-based file storage solution adopted by UCCS to replace our on-premises data storage previously hosted on Columbia. Departments are provided the same level of ownership over SharePoint sites as they had on their Columbia file shares. 

Who May Use This Service?

Faculty and Staff.

What Do I Need To Get This Service?

SharePoint is included in the university's Office 365 subscription; no action is needed to gain access.

How Do I Get Started?

You can get started with SharePoint on your own or reach out to the OIT Service Desk to get training on using the platform.

How Do I Change Or Stop This Service?

Access to the service will be revoked upon resignation or retirement. Individual department shares can be deleted or changed by the owner within the department or with assistance from the OIT Service Desk.
